WHERE PERSONAL INFORMATION RESIDES

Website form submissions (Contact form and Site Suggestions form):

This data is emailed to one email address (aaron@animation-festivals.com); the original email is therefore stored on our webmail server, with a copy sent to a Gmail account. Additionally, each form submission will be backed up in our website database, using the Gravity Forms (WordPress) plugin. Every 6 months, we delete all original emails on our webmail server, plus the backed up version in our website database. The only version which is usually kept after this will be the one sent to the Gmail account.

User Account (required for adding or editing festivals):

A user account can be created at any time; it is required if a user wants to add a new festival or edit an existing festival. We store this data on our secure web server. This data will be stored indefinitely, unless the user requests us to delete their data.

Newsletter:

We use ‘Mailster‘ a WordPress-based newsletter plugin, to collect names and emails from users who opt-in to subscribe to our newsletter. Subscriber data is hosted on our secure web server. This data will be stored indefinitely, unless the user unsubscribes or requests us to delete their data.
