This is England is a film festival focused on British short films of all genres (fiction, animation, documentary), held every year in Rouen (Normandy, France).

British & Irish short film festival This is England was created 12 years ago by the Rouen Norwich Club twinning committee. At the time, a group of enthusiastic film lovers wanted to create a cultural bridge between the two sides of the Channel through the medium of film. Starting with a handful of films shown to school groups the event has gradually established itself in the cultural and educational landscape of Rouen, and now offers over 20,000 spectators (including school students) an entire week of competition in mid-November.
