St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival is one of the longest-running women’s film festivals globally. Established with a bold vision of supporting and advancing the creative work of women and gender-diverse artists in the screen industries, the Festival has grown from a single evening of screenings to the province’s flagship film festival. SJIWFF is a respected leader in the sector and brings critical artist development and creative vitality to Newfoundland & Labrador.
