Rex Animation Film Festival is a yearly festival in Stockholm, aimed at bringing high quality European animation to a Swedish audience. REX presents a smorgasbord of the latest European shorts and feature films and is the only film festival in Sweden 100% dedicated to animation.
Rex Animation Film Festival has an audience award and a national student award.
The festival presents animated shorts and feature films from Europe and also includes a rich program of workshops, talks, and the Rex Student Award, an annual award for Swedish student productions. And yes, we also have a section dedicated to kids!

Requirements:
All animation techniques are accepted.
Animated films of all genres are accepted.
Films with dialogue not in English must have English subtitles.
Entries should not exceed 30 minutes in length.
Live-action films will not be programmed for the festival. Therefore, it is advised not to submit any non-animated work. However, hybrid productions, such as animated documentaries combining animation and live-action, are encouraged to submit.
