Previously a touring festival (International Festival of Cinema and Technology) rebranded in 2022 to reflect our new home in Portland, Oregon and our additional focus on all-things animation. The festival takes place at the Oregon Museum of Science & Industry and includes screenings, panel discussions, networking events, and an annual award ceremony with 30+ awards.
Animation categories include “Best 2D Animation” “Best 3D Animation” “Best Animated Feature” “Best Object Animation” “Best Animated Comedic Short,” “Best Animated Short Short” and more. Please view the full list of animation categories on the awards page of our website.

Requirements:
Films whose productions were completed after January 1, 2023 are eligible. There are no premiere restrictions for 2025. If your film has been screened online as part of a ticketed film festival, you are still eligible.
By submitting a project to the festival, you agree that you reserve the rights to do so and are allowing the festival the rights to screen the film for a live audience. The decisions made by our judges and jury are final.
