Los Angeles Shorts International Film Festival is the most prestigious short film festival in the world.

LA Shorts is accredited by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television (ACCT) presenters of the Canadian Screen Awards.

LA Shorts boasts an outstanding past record of 50 Academy Award-nominated films, including 15 Oscar winners.

The festival has honored some of Hollywood’s legends of the past: Charles Chaplin, Harold Lloyd, and Robert Wise; along with actors Martin Landau, James Woods, Gary Oldman and directors Jon Favreau, Jan de Bont, Tim Burton, Shane Black, Bryan Singer and Paul Haggis.

The festival annually attracts more than 7,000 moviegoers, filmmakers and entertainment professionals looking for the hottest new talent.
