Animation Festivals Directory

CHILEMONOS Festival is organized by CHILEMONOS Foundation, a non-profit organization that promote, encourage and develop the Chilean and Latin American animation to the world. Since 2012 we have developed CHILEMONOS Festival, a space created with the goal to be the principal cultural event of animation and a diffusion platform of this kind of contents in Chile and Latin American.

The first version of CHILEMONOS took place in 2012, as a pioneer activity in our country, today, CHILEMONOS Festival is part to list “Qualifying Festivals to Oscar Prize”, this means that since our eighth version, the winners to Best International Short Film and Best Latin American Short Film may be eligible to be part to official classification of Academy prize.
